Default ATG 714 Help needed.

I just recently got my new ATG 714 and so far really like it, after I got use to the size, that was a bit of an adjustment. But the economical savings is going to be worth more than any issues of getting use to the size.

Here is my problem though. The used portion that is supposed to be winding around the back spool seems to want to feed back around and ends up getting thread back through with the new adhesive coming out.......does that make sense. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong for this to happen. Perhaps I didn't set it up correctly but I've read the directions a couple of times and appears loaded properly. Also I've noticed that where the waste cartridge turns under the new row there is one area that is getting a stick residue from the new adhesive roll, that seems to cause it to stick sometimes and not flow smoothly have you had that problem? I know this is probably as clear as mud but if anyone has past experience fixes they want to share I would really appreciate it!!

TIA
Diane

It seems like it is not loaded right. Are you winding a little of the end in the take-up reel? Also do you have the plastic piece the take-up reel? Mine was missing at first and it was okay but works better with it.
