Hello, I have one I bought at Michaels and have been using it for years now. They frequently have 40% or 50% sales or coupons in the paper too.

Default embossing gun

My favorite one is a Milwaukie Brand. I got it at an estate sale. I think it is the best. I have the Marvy brand too which I use when I teach. The Heat It tool by Ranger is great too. There are many brands out there on the market, so shop around and get the best deal you can. Try to buy a name brand though, some of the ones out there don't last very long.

Good luck and Happy Stamping!:-D

Hello and welcome from another Albertan! The embossing gun I use is from Stampin' Up! and it is fantastic. I have used a few others but have found that they either burn out quickly or they just don't have the kick to them that I like when I am embossing. If you have any friends around that stamp see if you can try out their heat guns and then shop around for the product you like the best.

Good Luck.
