Why, you ask. Because you could end of covered in Dazzling Diamonds, lol!
I embossed a big bg stamp and covered it with Irie Ice, so I thought. So I heat set it and then left it for a while. When I came back to it, I picked it up with my usual vigor and promptly covered myself:rolleyes:
Of course, the dufus thing is that I have each container labeled; just didn't read it.
There is a big difference between the two and you would think I would have noticed (yeah, right!)
On the positive side, I had the "purtiest" eyelashes I've ever had

Reason: spelling
Well I took another shower and got most of it out. Still have some that didn't come off:( I had so much in my hair that it almost covered my gray......but not quite!

If people keep staring at you when you are talking to them, you can be sure you missed some!
I accidently went to work once with the remnants of a large, messy glitter project. When the girls pointed it out I just jokingly told them I got into a bar fight with a stripper.;)
Good story !! On a serious note, just be careful not to get any of that glitter in your eyes....
I have always loved the crafting quote, "It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eyelet." I'm telling ya, we face many hazards in the course of our beloved crafting, but it's worth the risk...

TWell Julie I've just topped you! Tonight I wanted to see the difference between paper pen and pearl pen so I got out my tubes. Pearl pen made a nice little pearl drop. Paper pen had a clogged nozzle. I poked something sharp in the top to loosen and then tried to lightly squeeze. Woosh! Pink paper pen all over my cutting board! Now trying to get it off of there and my fingers! Lol
Thank you, thank you!! Now I know I'm in good company, lol! So now we can call you "Pinky"
Pinky would be very appropriate! I still have a little on my hands that didn't wash off last night! I was thinking it would come off easier, so I took my good old time cleaning up the cutting board. Then I had to get some nail polish remover to try to get it up. Then it smeared and made my board coated with a pink fog. I think I have it clean now, but am still finding an occasional small spot of pink that I can scratch off with my fingernail....:p
My DH has come to accept glitter-enhanced floor coverings and furniture as part of his life with me  He picks up a stray bit of sparkle from the sofa from time to time, but takes it all in stride.
My SIL is a terrific crafter - mostly wreaths and jewelry. Every time I would see her there would be traces of glitter on her face. I finally found the perfect tote bag for her. It said "I'm so crafty I sweat glitter!" Maybe there are some T-shirts with that!!

Don't ask me how, but my DH often has glitter on his face. By the way where can you get paper pens and pearl pens?
Sorry, I just now saw this question. I get mine at a LSS. I had never heard of them before I saw them there. Here's a picture of what the tubes look like.

Thank you so much. Now I'll know what I'm looking for. You rock!

Those look very interesting. I've not come across any of those but wouldn't mind trying some. Then I could really sparkle with glitter and pearls ( a diva in the making?!):-D

You're welcome! I love the pearl pen better than the paper pen, but they both work the same. The little drop I use actually looks like a shiny pearl if you have a steady hand!
I just have to share this story about glitter! The year when the Packers went to the Super Bowl, my son came to my house and spray painted the snowbanks in Green and Gold. It said Go Pack Go! My best friend who kniows how much I love glitz, came over and saw it and said to me, " It needs some Stickles" to finish the project!".
