Default Brightly Lit Christmas dies

I'm using these dies for the first time and noticed that the holes in the lamp post die emboss onto my card stock. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, were you able to find a solution to this? I used both my Big Shot (with magnetic plate) as well as my Cuttlebug with and without the magnetic plate.

Thanks in advance!

It's just nature of some dies.
I have used my bone folder to gently smooth the bumps. It doesn't totally eliminate them but it definitely makes them less noticeable. I've also heard some people run them through the big shot again without the die and that it can sometimes smooth the dots a bit.
