Lightbulb Copic Airbrushing the inexpensive way...

Did you know that you can use your SU Color Spritzer Tool with your Copic markers? I've been wondering if you could, so I gave it a try and it works. I have a tutorial with photos on my blog. You can do it with any of the marker styles too!

Your way probably dosn't use as much ink as the airbrush system does either. Thanks for sharing, now I have a reason to get the spritzer now.

You mentioned that you took a notch out of your spritzer to be able to use the Copic, what did you use to make the notch and how far in did you go? Thanks.

The notch is already there on mine. I bought it 2 years ago when SU first put them back in the catalog, but I think the current ones are still the same. If you look on my blog post, I took a close-up photo to try to show what it looks like. It's small, but it is there. If you wanted it to be bigger, you could probably use a sharp exacto knife blade to whittle a little more out of the plastic.

Thanks for letting me know, I don't have the spritz tool and I haven't seen one in person yet, and when I was reading your blog it was 5 am so I did read it wrong. I will have to order one after Christmas, DH is starting to notice the amount I have being spending lately so I will have to slow down until after the holiday's.

I have to say I'm wonder if one of those "baby nose/ear cleaning devices" would work - it just puff power.

I tried using one of these a few years ago and I didn't work for me.
