Default New Crop-a-dile Chomper

So has anyone seen or heard about this new tool?

I recieved a email message about this new tool.

Here a link to the site: http://capg.zoovy.com/product/3007/3...r_Chomper.html

It look interesting. But I don't know if it would something I'd need or get.

Bought it a month ago. It works beautifully on paper or on chipboard.

I'm interested in this product as well.
I love my other crop-a-dile products and thought I'd buy this.
Then I was talked into the Fiskars flip punch. I'm not very pleased with it; so now I think I'm still going to purchase the chomper.

I got a Chomper a few days back - great tool! I love the fact it has the two sizes on the one tool (1/4" or 1/8" radius for the corner) which means that you can have properly nested layers with the rounded corners truly parallel to each other if you happen to be a stickler for the detail! It's surprisingly easy to go through even heavy materials with it, too.

If you're used to being able to do scalloped edges with a rounder then be aware that you can't do it with this as the guides are not removable but I think the advantages more than make up for it!

Just want to verify...this will do the same thing as the Zutter Round-it-all right??

I was needing the blue RIA but this is actually cheaper and does both sizes...so I can ditch the pink one!

This is cuter too...LOL

I haven't used the RIA, Cher but my understanding is that it's the same kind of tool - a rounder that will go through cardstock, chipboard, acetate, leather etc. I compared the descriptions of the two and bought the Chomper because it does both sizes on the one tool and I love my Crop-a-Dile and figured the quality on this would be similarly high.

HTH!

I got to compare both the Zutter version and the Chomper at a recent Scrapbook convention. Both punch beautifully, but, and this was HUGE for me, the Zutter cannot punch just a single sheet of CS! It's designed for stiffer and thicker materials and the manufacturer warns you that it doesn't punch single sheets. The Chomper does punch both types -- thick and thin. It's fantastic! I use it all the time!

I also bought the Fiskars flip punch awhile back, did not like the quality of this thing. You have to carefully position the corners into the tool if you want a clean corner. Save your money and go with the Chomper!!

Thanks for the input girls...You made me go buy one.

I found it at scrapbookingalley.com for $16.65 shipped! Makes me sick that I paid over $20 for the RIA!!
