I really like PTIs doily dies (boy, is it strange to type that word!). I see they have two sets, the "delightful doilies" and "doily details." Here's the link: Papertrey Ink - Doily Die Collection
Do you need both sets, or can I just get the detail set for the more intricate designs?
The Delightful Doilies are for the coordinating stamp set Papertrey Ink - Delightful Doilies Stamp Set
If you want all the intricate cut outs, you'd be better off with the doily details dies. HTH.
After the cardstock is cut and removed from the die you place the cut piece on the punch out tool and helps remove all the little pieces of paper from cut piece.
The doily dies are designed to be used with the doily stamp set while the doily details dies can be used as a stand alone (they look very similar to the Martha Stewart doilies that you can find). I personally purchased the doily details dies so that I can have doilies at my fingertips without stamping. Love them! Hope that helps.
Doily Details are available to give everyone additional options. They do not have a coordinating stamp set, but are instead made to be a great accent! The punch out tools are available separately and designed to save you some time with a paper piercer. You simply lay the die cut paper on the coordinating tool, and rub over it with your fingers. Because these are some of the finest detailed dies on the market, you'll find that even though the paper is fully cut, it likes to hang on because the area is pretty small.
If you're on the fence, we suggest holding off on your purchase of the punch out tool until you have a chance to see what it's like for you. It's definitely one of those personal preferences, some people might find it no big deal to poke out the hanger-ons, but others (like me!) like to accomplish it more quickly. HTH!

Thanks Jennifer. I just received my order today and I ordered the Parisian Lace Die and the Cut out tool and I couldn't figure out how to use it. Do you have a video on how to use the cut out tools with the dies?
Subbing because I've had the parissiene punch out tool and I cannot get the hang of it. I'm usually pretty clue-y but this thing has me stumped. :( . A video tut would be fab. So until then I will just continue using my pick to get those wee hanger oners out.
There isn't a video yet, but it's really easy to use. If you take a look at your paper once it's been die cut, you will see how it lines up with the tool. Just lay the paper on it where it matches up. Then start rubbing! That's it - you'll see the pieces popping right out!
