Default Where can I get these little jars?

I called my M's and they said they don't have them, so I was wondering if any other place would. Maybe $1 store? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you have a picture, or a link to a project in the gallery? Are they glass, plastic, or metal? How small are they? Unfortunately we're not mind readers, LOL!

I would try your local HL. I know they carry a large assortment of jars.

Default jars

I think you can get ones similar to these jars--maybe a bit bigger--at Ikea.

I am also pretty sure they came from Ikea you can check their website. They usually won't ship items like these but if you find them on there and you do not have an Ikea near you I would be willing to go to mine and get waht you need and ship them Alot should fit in a Flat rate Box for $9(approx) in the US. PM me for help if you like!!

If you are going to be near your M's anytime soon, check anyway. My experience with mine is that their employees NEVER know ANYTHING. Everytime I ask them about anything, I get a deer in the headlights look and they ended up saying, "we don't have that." 9 times out of 10, I'll find them myself. I was there just last week and a woman asked if they had Shrinky Dinks, "No." I was like, "Yes you do. They're on the aisle with the stamps- there's about 5 of each kind."

I found these in the wedding section of my local Mike's. They are all boxed up so you wouldn't see them sitting out individually. They also had a selection of lovely heart shaped tins (with the clear window on the front) and other small tins packaged in groups of 12-24.

I've discovered that the wedding section has all sorts of cute alterable items.

those are adorable jars - I'm looking at my Mike's this weekend! And you are right, the employees never know what they have - I'm sure most just aren't crafters. And sometimes you just have to walk through all the aisles because they put things in weird spots.

The original poster (in the picture link) updated her post to say that she found them at Mike's in the wedding aisle.

I am quite sure our Michaels has them. sometimes when you call a store (not just Mikes) the person on the phone has no idea what you are either talking about, or is misunderstanding what you want or finds that it is just easier (unfortunately) to say "no, we don't have them". Especially if you get a teeny bopper!! My daughter and I both work at Mikes and I told her NEVER to do that....if she doesn't know, find someone who does!!!! But even adult co-workers have "blown off" customers.....I hate that!!!!!!!!!!!! I have actually helped people while shopping at Walmart find things that I heard a walmart employee say they don't carry!!!

I found them at Michael's - they were with the wedding stuff and come in a square clear plastic box. When I found them they had them on a rack in the center aisle because they were going on sale the next day (I had a 50% off coupon) but they normally have them in the wedding aisle.

I hope you can find them - if not, let me know and I will see if I can pick some up for you.

Even if they aren't crafters (although it really should be a requirement for working at any kind of craft store), employees should have some idea of what their store carries. If I worked there, I'd make a point of just wandering the aisles from time to time if I had a few spare minutes, just to familiarize myself with the inventory. This seems to be a chain-wide problem, because I had the same issue when I was trying to find gold leafing materials for a decorative arts class project a few years ago. That's part of the reason I started shopping at AC Moore instead when one of their stores opened in Savannah!

Those jars came from Michael's. I recently bought 150 of them for my niece's wedding. BTW, we searched all over (online and local stores) to try to buy those jars in bulk and we couldn't find anything even close to the M's jars. They are just TOO CUTE!

Cost Plus (it's like Pier One, but with food and alcohol ) might have a similar jar if you don't have an IKEA in your area.
