At an open house, a bunch of us were shown the samples of the new Core Colors from SU. We all thought the weight or the feel of the cardstock has changed from the current cardstock that we all have. Has anyone
else noticed the same thing......or was it just all of us??? Or was it
just the samples that were sent to the demonstrators? I do know they
were sent smaller sheets but that should not affect the feel or the weight.
Thanks!
I just fiddled around with some and don't notice any real difference. I compared Early Espresso to Chocolate Chip and they feel the same. Compared those to Daffodil and it feels the same.

Okay, thanks. Am curious what anyone else has to say! There were 5-6
of us and we all noticed it, but maybe it was just us. Maybe they used
a different cardstock to send samples of the Core Colors to the demonstrators.
I just hope they did not change the cardstock finish or weight as I
love SU Cardstock!
Glad to hear that! Thanks to all that checked it out for me! Maybe it was
just the samples that they sent out. I know they came smaller than
the normal size of cardstock and maybe they used a different paper for them.
Thanks for all the time everyone took to check this out for me!

Someone somewhere on here weighed a lot of the papers and they were very similar, some of the lighter colors were maybe a gram or so lighter. I also remember reading something to the fact that the lighter the color of paper the "thinner" it is or at least feels as it doesn't need as much "stuff" in it as the darker colors. I know that a lot of the darker colors have quite a bit of recycled paper in them...can't use as much of that in the lighter ones.
