Hi: I love flower soft and have two Lockhart flower images that work great. I'm looking for more rubber stamps to use flower soft on. I don't feel they can be bold images but small detailed images that do flower soft justice. I did order the flower soft bicycle that has dainty, cascading flowers coming out of the bike's basket, but the bike is really large. Would have to make a
5X7 card. Any thoughts on beautiful images that flower soft can accent. Thanks, Judy
some of my fave smaller stamps for flower soft are karen lockharts, whiff of joy/sugar nellie (anything by elisabeth belle), and of course my own chocolate treats sets using the flower soft as cake
I purchased my kit last week and have not had time to use it as yet. However in my mind I thought of a number of way to use it ..anything but a flower.
I thought you could use it for the following.
Caterpiller antennea as well as butterfly main body or antennea
Reindeer antlers either for their fuzzy brown look, or a little snow on the top of them
Snow ( its actually ivory) for santas hat or on the roof top of a house
How about some grass
Easter cards for the pink inside the rabbit ears
While this would be a little more time consuming, I figured out a way I think you could use it just for the stamens on a flower. Either by using the wires that they recommend or one of my favorite go to products waxed linen thread.
Keep in mind these suggestions are coming from someone who has made less than a dozen cards, but I do have expereince in paper tole so have some idea of how to give depth.
Anyone else have some other ideas of how to use this other than on flowers?
I also think swirls, curls and other decorative elements can provide for a fun outline for the flower soft. The Flower Soft website has good ideas, too.
