Smile what is your favorite thing?

What are the things you find your self always using? Ribbon or Primas or a certain tool, share with us, who knows maybe you have something the rest of us need like mammak and her KF Snap Stamps

One "tool" I find myself using a lot is a dental floss threader from Oral-B. It's supposed to be used for getting dental floss in between your teeth when they are too close together to get it in from the top, but I use it to thread wider ribbon through eyelets and tiny holes. It's a lifesaver!

I use my paper piercer for everything...piercing paper, getting the holes out of punches, getting "chunks" out of my stamps when they get too messy and gooed up, scratching through colored pencil to make a neat effect...stabbing someone in the hand if they try and touch my stamps...uh...wait, I wasn't supposed to say that last one out loud...

I also like my mini hammer from MM. It's a geeky little thing...but I love it. And the pounding annoys the neighbors.

I go through phases. Recently I've been putting ribbon on every card. For awhile I was sponging everything. I've gone through mulberry paper phases, brad & eyelet phases...

As far as accessories go, I use my stylus like Jessica uses her paper piercer - for all kinds of weird reasons. Right now I'm lovin' my watercolor crayons and color with them all the time.

Fun thread - I'll be watching to see what everyone else comes up with.

right now my favorite thing is markers! I just got two more color families and only need the EE now - I wish I had got them sooner. I love them!

Thanks......I really needed that tip!

I find I use my Prisma pencils, gamsol, lots and lots of ribbon, Black StazOn, eyelets and brads the most........then comes clips and punches.

I have been putting ribbon on all my cards lately. I also like brads and eyelets. I got my first order of primas and stickles, so they may become faves soon.

I think we all go through stages of our favorites tools and techniques. My latest favorite embellishment is twill. I just love stamping on twill!

I second the Distress Ink pads. I also use punches on most of my projects, though I can't say for sure if that's from guilt or love. It feels good to use them, though, so I'll go with love! I like figuring out different ways to use them, especially all the square and circle punches I've invested in. ("Invested" sounds so Bay/Wall Street -- does that mean I have a stamping portfolio worth thousands?)

Versa Mark! I can't seem to make a card without using it. I also love ribbon and other embellishments. I can never have enough, it seems!

I've just broken the EP habit and am trying new things. I still love EP but really try not to use it on every card.

Very interesting! I never thought about that. I'm thinking a needle threader would work in the same way. I'm going to have to take mine out of the sewing box and put it in with the ribbon.

Ribbon goes on every card I make! Thanks for the dental floss tip - I get so frustrated trying to thread ribbon thru buttons. I'm going to give this a try.

I use my sponges all the time to ink things up and distress. I'm also into the sparkly phase. My gallery will attest to that. My aquapainters have put my blender pens out of business.

I just got 48 colors of prismas. I have a feeling I'll be using them a lot once I sharpen them all!

My favorites seem to be anything you guys all have. LOL I had to buy the snap stamps last week, and I love them already, had to buy the 1/8 ones too. I love Primas, when I was on KTcrafts to order my snap stamps i found NEW primas that I had to order too. Hinges also seem to be up there to, seem to be using them lots too. I guess my #1 thing is this site, but I must admit i would have a lot more money if i had never been told about this site

I have a needle threader that I never use but I am too lazy to remove it from my sewing basket and put it with my crafting stuff. But, I *do* have a couple of spools of wire that came in a kit, and I never use that either, except to unwind it a little, bend it, and use that the same way you use a needle threader. It's fairly sturdy wire so probably wouldn't fit through most button holes, but for ribbon through eyelets or 1/16" holes it's fab.

I think my next craze will be my Snap Stamps, but I only have the 1/8th casual. I'm wishing I had more though!

More of my favorite things (that I love, but don't use on everything) are: Prima's, Stickles, my Rob and Bob Stack, Prisma's and Gamsol, and just about any metal embellishment.

I use brads, ribbon, Primas and Stickles a lot. Also use either the Black or Brown StazOn ink frequently because I love to color, oh, I use aquapainters often too.

I always seem to be using my crayons. They are the best investment I ever made at SU. I just love them. They may be expensive but in my mind well worth it.

lately I've been using my glitter gel pen alot! LOVE IT
Also sponging the ends of my paper
And everyday I must use my Stazon Black ink

to me the lines of all my images look crisper if I use Stazon instead of plain black ink.

Linen, Canvas, or Aida BGs make it onto just about every card I make! I love those things for adding subtle texture to a layer. Linen also looks spectacular layered over other stamps!
