storing glaze pens
I already trashed my packaging so I can't double check there...but do I have to store these pens tip down, tip up, or horizontal...or does it even matter.
Ugh! And, why oh why do they not put the color names on the barrels? I got both white and clear and while there is a tiny difference in the lid colors, it is slight and when in a hurry I always seem to pick the wrong one!
I had posted a picture on my blog where I was storing them tip up (so I could see the color) in an IKEA utensil caddy. Unfortunately that didn't last long - it took forever to get the ink to "flow". So I now store them in one of the clear Stampin' Up! storage containers. I label the end of each with the "type" of gel pen that is inside and put a label on the flat side of the container with the features of each variety so that when I take them to class my students can just read the label to know what else they can use these pens for should they purchase them. I've always been told that the best way to store any kind of Art related "marker" is horizontal. So I assume the same goes for the glaze pens, as well as the new Souffle pens (the ones that puff up). I also just use a clear box from Stampin up. Good Luck!

You probably can - I just can't tell what color they are with the tips down and therefore have resorted to the clear plastic containers just to make it easier to find the color.
Yikes - I hope that doesn't happen!!! I haven't tried it though so hopefully anyone who has will report to us here if they have - LOL! Can you imagine the mess?!?
Yasutomo has always recommended that their pens be stored horizontally, not standing up in a cup. Since my pens have lasted for years following that direction, I'm gonna go with that, lol!
