Question best way?

whats the best was to adhere ribbion to a candle. i am making a unity candle for my friend, and we want to but ribbion on it..but not a bow..should i tape it with double stick tape? hot glue it? some other method?

any help would be great!!!

Well that's a good question. I'm thinking that the hot glue would show through the ribbon possibly and double stick tape may just peal right off. Are you putting a design on the candle with tissue paper?? The double stick tape would stick to that after you put the design on the candle. If not, I was thinking you could use brads to stick through the ribbon and press into the candle. Or if you don't want it to be seen use a stick pin that you would use for sewing. KWIM?? They are like an inch long with a very tiny flat head and are usually silver in color. Well that's all I have a this hour of the night. Hope it helps!!!

i was thinking of a tack- maybe you could color it the same color as the ribbon so it wouldn't show!

I always use a pin, I pin one end, wrap tightly and then pin the other, so that if you want to use the candle you can easily remove the ribbon.HTH.

I've used pergamano glue. Doesn't show through and is so easy to use !
