What glue to use w/ Dazzling Diamonds?

I just made a card using Dazzling Diamonds and the retired 2 way glue pen. I really think that glue laid down too chunky and wobbly. Once everything dried, I like the overall card, but think that it looks kind of unpolished because of how the glue dried. What do you use to adhere your DD? I would really like a nicer finished look!!!

I love to use it with packing tape. Check out tldaniel's gallery. She punched holes on the tree from the set Lovely as a Tree, placed packing tape on the back side of the cs and then poured the red glitter on top of the tape. It's beautiful and simple to do!

msbmom2, is that egg image a stamped image that you traced over with the Two-Way Glue pen, or was it drawn free-hand with the TWGP? If it's a stamp, you can do what parrothead suggested and use Heat & Stick powder to get the Dazzling Diamonds to adhere. Just stamp your image with pigment ink or VersaMark, sprinkle on the H&S powder, shake off the excess, and heat with your heat tool - VERY CAREFULLY, just until it gets shiny. Then sprinkle on the Dazzling Diamonds, shake off the excess and then heat again, VERY CAREFULLY, just to set. The glitter will adhere much more evenly with this method. Hope it helps! Thank you!!! It is a stamped image from the new set, A Good Egg. Actually heat and stick powder is on my list for the next order. And the fact that you asked if it was stamped or hand drawn is EXACTLY why I wanted a cleaner image Thanks for the suggestion...can't wait to try it out!!!

Could you stamp with versa mark and use clear embossing powder on it to melt it then sprinkle with dazzling diamonds or glitter and it would adhere ? I am new to embossing but love doing it so I was just wondering if anyone had tried it. Thanks, Beckaroni
