you have to pick just one...
Okay, I realize this is darn near impossible to do, but just try....
Name the one stamp set (yep, limit it to one) that you have gotten the most use of of. It is the one that you constantly reach for. You would never sell it if someone asked you for it.
For me, it is "Lovely as a Tree"

I'm with you Patti -- can be used for any card, which I believe makes any tree/trees stamps a wonderful value.

Since Lovely as a Tree has been mentioned many times (and I constantly reach for it), I will say Fifth Ave. Floral. Just like the little black dress, you can dress it up or dress it down. Simple, elegant, dramatic....any or all of the above.

Blooming with Happiness. I use that so often and love it, love it!!! The versatility of it for birthday and wedding and showers and the ability to color whatever color I want to match makes it my all time favorite.

Truthfully my most used set is "Whole Family" by Kitchen Sink Stamps - they are the perfect size and quite classy looking words.

Those four hedgehogs at the bottom? I can easily leave the heart unstamped on three of them and make them holding other things! SOOOO versatile!!!

If I could only own one set (the horror!!!), it would be Doodle This.
Loads of Love is probably a more practical choice, though

Jolies Fleurs
My all-time favorite is Lizzie Anne Design's
Jolies Fleurs . I'm always surprised to see how versatile it is. I can make so many different images and backgrounds from it. Love it!

Another Lovely as a Tree. I used it 3 different years for Christmas cards, Father's Day, MAsculine Birthday, Thanksgiving and the 2 tiny stamps for backgrounds with animals.
After that it would be one of my sentiment sets.
