Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion Questions
I just got the Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion. I wondered why I waited so long. I love it.
I don't like the ruler. That ruler is going to be destroyed in ten seconds the way I do my art. Is there another ruler I can use that is more durable? I did watch videos but I would love to here the SCS tips & tricks for Wendy's Stay-tion. I did buy more Teflon mats. What are some other things I can buy to go along with it. They can be Wendy's brand or even Dollar Tree. I am open to all ideas. |
I have this. I use it to hold my stencils without having to tape them. I have no idea about the Teflon mats you are talking about. I am sure there are many ways to use this product that I am unaware of.

Don't know which kind of ruler you have. I just looked around online and see that almost all the pictures have that thin flexible magnetic ruler. But I did find a picture of the rulers I saw at the store... https://www.scrapbook.com/store/ri-w...IaAl3IEALw_wcB |
hmmm not only am I thinking about those rulers but also the stamp positioner.....there is mini vid in that link under the ruler picture that shows a lot of extras for it including the silicone mat.

fionna51- THANK YOU! That is the exact kind of ruler I am looking for. The ruler that comes with the Stay-tion is a piece of junk.. Sorry Ranger & Wendy. I love you guys but I don’t love that ruler. :) I noticed on Amazon a lot of the magnetic rulers were made from the same material. I guess these ruler companies didn’t think we would be getting paint and ink on the rulers. :)
lovinpaper- Here is the teflon mats- https://www.amazon.com/Teflon-Sheet-...7H55M1ZR&psc=1. Ranger has their own version also for the Stay-tion. You can use these to heat emboss on your Stay-tion without damaging it. You can also use paints without damaging the board. The mats are thin enough you can see the grid lines on the board. Wendy has videos showing heat embossing using the board. Wavejumper- Thank you so much for pointing out the videos. I didn’t think about the stamp positioner. I might get that too. I was so excited there was a video showing the styluses. I am getting into dot painting. This was one of the major reasons why I got the board so I would have something to hold down my project while dot painting. I really wish I didn’t wait so long to get the board. I love to stencil. I was getting so frustrated with my stencils shimmying even if they were taped down, The stencil would tear while I was trying to remove it. I do use stencil tape. Going through my room and readying for the move I thought about getting rid of my stencils. I remembered Wendy’s Stay-tion. I am nitpicky about my tools. I am surprised I love it so much, lol. I do agree with the reviews for once that it is a game changer. |
Several Wendy videos (including care & cleaning of Stay-ion):
