Default What is the finished size of the Cheery Lynn Gardenia flower?

Does any one know the "Finished" size of the Cheery Lynn Gardenia flower.
It only states the strip die is 2 & 1/2" x 8" not the size of the finished flower

Thanks
Barbara

Thanks! She doesn't state the size of the flower either but judging from her hands and the flower die cuts I think you are correct it is about 1 & 1/2" in diameter.

I made a big mistake years ago by not finding the finished size of a Heartfelt creations ornament die . It was so large it would have nearly occupied the entire front of a card. I gave it away. Live and learn--Now I ask the finished size

Call the company to ask for the size, and then ask them to include the finished size in all of their online descriptions. Some companies have overlooked that detail for just one item, others seem to ignore the idea altogether. If we don't tell them that is essential information, then they don't know we need it.

I sent an email to Cherry Lynn to inquire on the finished size of the Gardenia. Considering it is New Years day I didn't expect a reply today. However I got a reply today

Here is the reply . It also explains how to calculate the size of other strip die flowers
Hi Barbara,

The finished size of the Gardenia is 1 &1/2 inches. On our flower strip dies you can figure the finished flower is going to be an inch narrower than the die because we leave a half in on either side of the petals on the strip.

Happy New Year!
