Default Liquid Applique, Puffy Paint, Souffle Pen??

I wanted to add tiny pom poms to my Christmas Cards this year but the smallest I can find arent small enough and cotton balls arent doing the trick...I have seen many of you use Liquid Applique but also have seen Tulip Paint and other kinds....Which is best? Thanks....SG

Well the souffle pen would probably be the easiest, but won't be very "puffy". I think I would use LA. I use white puffy paint for something like whip cream...it just looks so real. For what you are doing my first choice would be the LA, but it would probably depend on what I had on hand at the time and if I wanted to make a trip out to get something else. So, was this any help at all, lol?

The differences between LA and Tulip Puffy are the number of colors available and price. LA is available in more colors than Puffy, and LA costs more. Any technique using LA can be done with Puffy, and the results will be identical.

I use Puffy and tint white with a dye ink to obtain the color I need. If you use LA,. be sure to save the container when it's empty...it's a great applicator for many mediums (including Puffy!).

Here's an example of a heavy application of Puffy...

Liquid applique puffs up when you heat it which is an extra step and you can't really control the size very well. Sounds like a Tulip Paint or Stickles (with glitter) would suit your project. Just make sure you leave it to dry for a while.
