Yeah, my Sam's has 250 ct., and that's what I bought last week, I want to say it was just under $7. I think it is good for anything, but now that I have discovered PTI white CS, nothing compares, so I use PTI for my "good" projects and the GP for everyday stuff.

Looking at my cardstock that I bought from sam's I have to correct myself that it is only a 250 count pack. Sorry.

PTI stands for Papertrey Ink. They sell a beautiful, smooth, white cardstock
that is very sturdy. You can find it here: Paper Basics - it's the Stamper's Select white cardstock.

Daisyboo, You are right, SU! and others mentioned are all whiter than GP I did a side by side comparision while on a hunt for a less expensive alternitive to the SU! WW. To me GP looks actually gray in comparision but to look at it by itself it looks white...so weird!

Thank you so much Kurtis, I felt like a stamping dork asking but I just had to know!

So, the PTI better is being recommended over SU! for overall quality? If so, I will have to try some out. This is all very interesting for me b/c I have never really used anything other than SU.

Well, I tried to order the PTI white cardstock today but they were sold out, so I went to Wally World and got the GP 110/150 and it's so flimsy---doesn't feel like 110# to me (and I work in an LSS). I guess I'll still use it for card bases but they'll be flimsy card bases.

I've used G-Ps cardstock & it seems okay, and SU is really nice. But, I prefer cardstock from Marco's Paper. They have a website & their cardstock is really special. They have a ton to choose from so it's best to get one of their sampler tablets to start with. I prefer the Cougar White & Cream in 80#. I don't have pricing handy, but it's not cheap or over-priced. Just good value. It's got a beautiful texture & color. They also have a colored cardstock called Carnival that's really rich, dark colors. They also carry glossy cardstock which I use if I really want something to look dramatic. Check them out. You'll be surprised.
