I bought a color wheel for a color theory class ages ago, and after I learned how to use it I loved it. If you mostly use SU cardstock, the Color Coach will help you break out of a rut. The scraptitude website is fun, but I rarely use the suggested combos - I try them by laying out my cardstock color samples, but I don't often make a card or scrapbook page with all the colors given.

I like the color coach. It's been useful to me in trying new color combos.
Also another great thing to try for new color combos is the weekly color challenge here on SCS. I have found lots of new combos that way! And there are a ton of challenges listed.
I like it as it makes me try different combinations of colors. Otherwise, I would stick with the plums and moss forever! Or eggplant and artichoke! or . . . well, you get the idea!
Do I need one of these? Are they really helpful in coordinating colors?
for me, the color coach was one of the best ?10 i ever spent. i have also made a ring of cardstock samples to check combos out at once. you can see what i mean if you check my gallery. but, to repeat, i LOVE my color coach!

I would recommend it. The color combos on there are nothing I would ever think of, but they always look great. I have looked at some on the wheel and said, "No way!" but when I pull out the cardstock, it works!
I recommend it. I love the scrapitude page, but my computer is not always handy when I am trying to come up with a card. So in a few short seconds, I come up with new color combinations with my color wheel.
I also use the color combinations in the designer series and simply scrappin' kits for inspiration.
