Twinkling H2O's-use or lose?
I have many of these and don't use them. Can anyone excite me about them or are they a thing of the past. Feel bad about the money invested.
I love my Twinklin' H2Os!!!
Here's a card I made with them....I painted them directly onto the flower stamp then stamped it onto the white CS. I love the effect! Happiness Always You just need some inspiration, that's all  |
I have seen so many cool ideas using them that I am dying to buy some so that I can play, but I am waiting for my wallet to open up a bit. Let me know if you decide to "lose" them, I'll be glad to take them off your hands!
Use them!! There's nothing like them. Plus, one thing I've noticed in this industry is that everything comes back around! You lose them, and that's the most sure-fire way to have them be the next big thing, LOL!
I use them to fill in when I stamp a pair of glasses or water...
oh you have them so why dont you use them? Watercoloring is fun and they have such a nice shimmer, come on, give 'em another try, why dontchya!
I need that encouragement to be renewed!
I own them ALL!!! and I have to say that they are one of the (rare) things that I use almost everyday!! I love the way they look, even if it's just to add a bit of sheen and shimmer over something that I've already colored :)
I broke mine out and used them for the first time in forever when I was making valentines with the kids. I couldn't even remember what they were called!!! I forgot how pretty they are and how fun they are!
I was not enjoying mine either for awhile....I was using the aqua pen with them. I changed over to using just a paintbrush and water and I started to like them again. No idea why....I just liked the finished product better. Also, I open all the jars I am going to use and spray them with water and let them sit for a bit before I use them. That makes them a bit softer and easier to use.
I love them. The colours are gorgeous and so easy to use.
I bought a crap load of these from a store going out of business for .75 each but I have yet to use them. Guess I better get to it.
Where do you get them? I don't think I've seen them before. But just today a friend was telling me how much she loves hers. She got them at some stamping expo...

I love mine! I dont stamp as often as I would like but when I go to color an image they are usually what I like to grab first unless I am doing a swap where I have to use SU only!

I also have them but rarely use them now that I'm back to working again.
They are very pretty, when used, that is. I have a full week off now that my kids are on their vacation . So I'm thinking about doing a little scrappin this week if I'm not to occupied with the kids. |
Michele wow your frien does have an awesome gallery. she definettly puts a lot of work into her cards and it shows. with all the stitching.and coloring she does. the colors are so vibrant in all her cards.
Thanks for posting this link. I think I'll break out my h20's tomoorw and play with them. I'll make my sons birthday card this week. |
mICHELLE THANKS AGAIN FOR THE HIGH HOPES WEBSITE. I forgot you can print these right from the site.

Great thread! Thanks Michelle for the link your your frined's gallery - I think I've been inspired to drag my H20s out!! We are always buying the "next best thing" and forget about the great stuff we already have :)

I LOVE them - they are so underrated! You can add water put them in a fine mist bottle and voila you have shimmer paper like with glimmer mist but even more shimmery! You can watercolor - put them directly on your stamps - SO much! I have pictures and tutorials of all this on my blog here:
