Question anyone know what this acrylic 'tool' is?

My sister-in-law discovered this clear rounded acrylic tool (image attached) at a thrift store and has been using it to apply rubber stamps, but she's never seen one before and wonders if anyone else has one like this or uses it for stamping?
Thank you,
Ms Max

Heart Thank you Gram

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! Gram.
I owe you one. I had tried for over a week doing all manner of image searches with google and bing and even the Google Lens app and came up empty. I finally resorted to joining a stampers group in hopes of someone possibly knowing what this "tool" was. And in less than a few hours, I get an answer.
This
Impression Obsession Mega Mount Rocker Block can be bought new at simon says stamps.

Again, Thank you so much

this looks easier to use than Crafters Companion rock a blocks.. if the stamp is very thin, when I use my smallest rock a block, it leaves ink along the edges of the rock a block because it's raised edges ...

thanks for posting !

Way back when there were craft shows on TV, stampers used those to stamp large solid images on walls with paint.

Mary Beth,
So when there "were" craft shows on TV and stampers used them for "large solid images on walls", means they are no longer made/sold? These larger blockers? The one my sister has is 5"x7" and has measuring marks on it, whereas the one sold by simon says stamps is only 6"x6".

Impression Obsession sells their "mega Mount" still - I love mine - no grid but IMO that's not the important part

The ones I remember seeing demo'd on craft shows were at least 6x8" and were made for large solid image stamps (foam or rubber) that were sold in craft stores with stencils and other wall decor supplies. I haven't seen a big rocker block used for stamping on paper but if it works, go for it!
