Heart Torn between MFT and Stephanie Barnard dye ink pads !!

I've heard so many different good things about these 2 different labels of Colorbox dye inks.

Can anyone advise on their preference and why?

Thanks much!!

I have the Stephanie Barnard ones and really like them, if that helps. They are juicy and they don't have a texture, which I like. And the colours are very rich.

Default Thank you Jana!

I am just starting out so there is a lot to learn lol.

I bought most all of the distress inks because those were the only ones that were there in quantity... It was not until later that I saw Youtube vids about them and learned about Tim Holtz and all his 'stuff' LOL

Now I know these inks serve a different purpose....but I will still enjoy them for their special properties.

Off to find sources for the SB Colorbox inks!
Thanx again
Sherri

I don't have either inks, so I don't speak from experience, but if it might matter to you, I know MFT's inks match their cardstock and embellishment colors. I don't know if the SB inks do also.

A friend let me borrow one of her SB ink pads. It was hard for me to hold because it was very flat like some of the Colorbox pads. The ink covered nicely.(this includes my fingers since it was difficult for me to grip!) I was using it upside down and inking the stamp with the rubber side up.

Don't know anything about the MFT INK pads.

I have one of Stephanie's ink pads and while I do love the coverage of that ink, it is extremely hard to hold and that was my only reason for not buying more of them. Just too flat!
