Guess the sale on the Cuttlebug is over, I excitedly went to the link (Thanks for that!!) and the price I got at checkout was $69.99 plus shipped and handling costs. Needless to say, I backed out of the order! That's WAY TO MUCH!!

Wow! I didn't know you could use these with the Cuttlebug!

All the things mentioned above are true - the plates are a little bit of hard work and they don't emboss as deeply. The more intricate/small the design, the harder to get the pattern. However, I find many easy to use, like Filigree and Dots. Here are some sample cards done by hand using the 3-prong stylus.

I still think these are a good alternative if you can't afford a Cuttlebug.
