Default CTMH Clear Blocks

I've had my clear blocks for a little over a year and I've started to notice a haze over the blocks. Has anyone else run across this? I was starting to wonder if it was caused by the stamp scrubby pad I use to clean the stamps. Similar question on the same topic, does the scrubby pad ruin the integrity of the stamp?

Thanks!

I get the haze on my blocks too. I've used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it comes off wonderfully. My haze was caused from Versamark, so if you use it, that could be the problem. Just make sure you don't use anything with alcohol in it or it could cause hairline cracks in the blocks therefore losing their ability for you to see through them. Your cleaning scrubber will not affect the integrity of the stamps or the blocks.

HTH,
Becky

I have used VersaMark on this block. I wondered why the haze was only on this block, I figured it was because it was the one I used the most. That's the second time today I read that the Magic Eraser comes to the rescue...that thing is magic!

If you have one of those micro fiber clothes that you use on Oakley Sunglasses that will take the haze off and not scratch your block either.

I would use a microfiber cloth instead of mr. clean, just because I would not want any scratches and you won't get any with microfiber.

Close to My Heart's new watermark pad functions like versamark in many ways but will not leave the yucky haze on your blocks or stamps.
