Default Cricut vs Accucut GrandeMark

I need help everyone or anyone who responds. Which do you think is better? The cricut or the Accucut GrandeMark? Or do you think they both have their own purposes? Would you sell your cricut to get a accucut grandemark? I really want to sell mine to get the grandemark as I believe its a better investment in a favors and invitation business. Let me know your thoughts?

If you are cutting multiples I would say a large die cutter would be best.

I have a Big Shot Pro (the Sizzix big die cutter) and I love it for big dies and when I have to cut many dies at once.

Both machines have different purposes. I guess the only thing they have in common are expensive dies, ROFL! I am a Cricut user too. I want a GrandeMark. I have to wait to get some space in my art studio.

GrandeMark will handle heavier materials that the electronic cutters couldn't get through their machines.

Have you looked at the Big Shot Pro? It's a bit more versatile than the GrandeMark. I heard wedding designer's prefer it as their manual machine. BSP popped in my head when I read you were looking at the GrandMarke for invitations.

I have a Cricut and a Big Shot (not a GrandeMark by any stretch of the imagination) but I use both. I would not sell my Cricut as I think they are two different machines. I have made invitations for baby showers, weddings, birthdays, etc. Two examples: I needed 120 turtles for one baby shower. I cut the body and the shell in no time at all using the Cricut. On the other hand, I have used an embossing folder for another shower and would not have been able to do that on the Cricut. You know what your business needs are, so I suggest to do what I do: make a list of the pros and cons of each mahine. Sometimes when I see things on paper, it is easier for me to make a decision. Good luck with your decision and let us know what you decide.
