Do you have/use both? I have the Labels 1 which I think is a nice substitute for Top Note. However, I like SOME of the stamps that coordinate with the Curly Label punch. Do I NEED the punch or can I get by with the Labels 1?
Thanks for your opinion. :-D

I have both, punch for when I use coordinating stamps. Punch is quicker to grab and use. Labels 1 gives you more than one size of the the same shape, thus giving me flexibility to use different sizes to match whatever project I am making. hth, gail
I have the Labels One Nesties but SU! don't offer the Curly Label punch in the UK catty. But they have the Vintage Labels SAB set in our catty and one of the stamps in there coordinates with the Curly Label punch.
I borrowed my friends Vintage Labels set 'cos I wanted to see how I would cut out the oval and square stamps (we don't have the option of the wide oval punch in the UK catty either) before I chose that set as a SAB option. I tried the square stamp with a Labels One die (the next one up from the smallest die in the set). It's not perfect 'cos I think the punch and dies are a slightly different shape and there's a lot of space round the stamped image - but then I don't think it's that bad either! It's better than having to cut the shape out by hand at least! I posted the card on my blog if you want to see the results:
The punch is one of my absolute favorites! To make it even sweeter, right now one of the free Sale-A-Bration sets you can earn is Vintage Labels, which has a blank curly-label-friendly stamp, along with 3 sentiments that fit inside. The other stamps in the set (they work with other punches) are also gorgeous, so it's a wonderful time to add the punch to your collection!
Thank you all for your replies. I really do like the Vintage Labels set as well but I don't have any of the punches. Thank you Ruth for those examples. That's EXACTLY what I needed to see. And your cards are lovely.
Now I know I don't NEED the punch...but now to decide if I WANT the punch. Oh it just never ends. ;)

K, so I have a Slice, a Cricut, lots of nestabilities...but I also have LOTS of punches. Why not get rid of the punches you may ask when I have so many other methods of cutting out shapes? Well, nothing beats the convenience of just punching something out. Everything else takes more time (not a whole lot...but more time). When I just want to cut something (or need to do something because I've waited until the last minute), I almost always go with a punch-friendly stamp so I can get it done quickly!
