I cannot imagine what they are cooking up at SU if this is their retirement list.
Do you think they are getting rid of all ribbon, period, or do you suppose they have some awesome new ones instead? And how about the fact that every single scrappin' kit and every single designer paper is also retiring? Wow! I cannot believe this. Can't wait for July 1st!!!
Some demos have mentioned something from a newsletter they get. They said the ribbon is being renamed or something and different widths. I think they said the ribbon is being called like the ink names. Don't quote me.

Yep, I think that many of the ribbons are being renamed to match the ink names. In addition, I know that we are getting wider grosgrain ribbon as well.
I was really surprised to see the solid 12 x 12 cardstock and the ink cartridges on the list. This should be an interesting catalog...makes me wish I was still a demo.
I'm going to stalk up on ink cartridges. I just hate the thought of using my ink pad and not getting it all the way across a sheet of paper the long way . The ink gets lighter and doesn't look so good.
Maybe they are coming out with 8x8 cardstock . Since a lot of ladies are now doing 8x8 albums . It's seems to be a lot more popular than the 6x6 now.

Ya Lisa, I hear you. I am wishing I was still a demo right now as well. This is such an exciting time of year. I cannot, cannot wait to get my little hands on that catty!
As for 12x12 paper- this is being reconfigured, so the current package configurations are being discontinued and they will return in a different configuration
As for wheel cartridges- only a small percent is being discontinued and these are in the less popular colors. In addition, the single empty cartridges will still be avaialbe so that you can make your own cartridges if your favorite color cartridge is no longer available.

Colleen,
If they are reconfiguring the 12x12 paper, do you know why it is not all of the colors?

Spoke with someone this morning and the 12x12 on the discontinued list will NOT be available separate any longer. They will all be in multipacks with different colors. I'm really not interested in buying them this way.
It's also my understanding that the ribbons will be in smaller amount rolls. I really like getting them in 25 yards but if they are cheaper and a little bit less I won't mind.

Not to doubt you, but where did you get this information? All I thought we knew at this point was that the ribbon was being renamed.

I wonder, if they are in smaller rolls if the per yard price will be the same. Because right now that roll is one of the best deals in town! It's hard to find ribbon on spools that cheap!
I'm sad about Going Gray (not me the color, haha). I wonder if they will replace it or is this the end of the Gray Neutral?
But they're keeping the Going Gray classic inkpad and reinker, so some form of Going Gray is staying. Maybe there will be a multi-pack of neutral cardstocks that will include Going Gray?? Just a guess.

I totally could be wrong on this but I heard from a friend this is what is most likely happening. As with everyone, we will not know for sure until July 1st. I don't want to take my chances, though.

Going Grey is being replaced with Basic Grey, a waterproof ink that is similar to the Basic Black and Basic Brown inks. I'm not sure what's happening with the paper-I know that with the the introduction of Sahara Sand, I've sold alot less of the Going Grey cardstock.
