Default Target craft table

Enabler alert - some of the pieces of the Target craft table are on sale. The table top itself, the rounded corner units, and the 2-shelf with glass door were all clearanced at my Target. I went to Target to buy a pair of shoes and ended up buying a whole desk set (table top and 4 organizer cubes). I can't wait to get it all put together.

How much were yours on sale for? I bought some last Sunday and they were only 30% off ($17.48 for the corner shelves, cubes with door & desk shelf) - all others were regular price. Someone on another board says hers were $13.00, which would have been 50% off. Just curious.

Thanks!

Vicki

Hmmmmm, I wasn't planning on anything like that but of course now I will have to run to Target and check them out. Not a big deal for me cause the store is literally 3 minutes from my house!

3 minutes ... THREE ... I would be there *every* time I saw something new on here. I'm (well, maybe more so my husband is) glad that mine is about 20 (sometimes 30 with traffic) from me!

That's how much they were at my store, too. I wish they were $13, though, then I wouldn't have had such a mental battle in the store (should I get them, my hubby won't be happy, but they're on clearance, but we're trying to stick to a budget, but I need some storage.....). I caved in and bought them. 30% was enough to sucker me in. And I'm glad I did. I only got to play for about half an hour, but I already love my new set up.

i scored these last week! i got six cubes, the desk top, and 2 round end shelves. i paid about $130.00 of all of them! should have been about 220-240!!! i was so excited but think the desk top is not deep enough. like it anyway and it opened up my space alot!!! made it look lighter in the otherwise drearey basement! LOVEEEEEE all the storage!! oh yeah... the drawer dividers are really nice too!! i got 3 of those and castors too! ended up not using the castors because they only had 2 sets and i needed 3. i'll have to hit a different target!

I agree the desk could be deeper, but I don't like my desk up against the wall, so I put my old table up behind it to put stuff on. I was looking at the Crop in Style modular furniture and it looks exactly like this furniture from Target, but it's over double the price. My LSS carries the Crop in Style stuff, so I am going to go over there to see if I can get the 12x12 hanging files.

I love my new desk, though. Everything is so close at hand (except my stamps), but it's so nice to just open a draw to get a punch out or another piece of paper. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

I have the SIS cubes. They are better quality than the Target cubes. It's thicker all around and maybe 1"-1 1/2" bigger than the Target ones. Does it warrant paying the extra money for it? I don't know.

The one that has the two desk top shelves - well our Background stamps fit on the one with 2 shelves PERFECT! I don't think those were on sale, but they serve a great purpose!

I have the same problem, 1 Target 3-4 minutes, 2nd & 3rd Target 15 minutes AND 3 Michaels stores within 15 minutes and 1 JoAnns next to one Target that is also across the parking lot from one of the Michaels. I can hear the stores calling me everyday. It is amazing that I ever get any work done!
