Default ? for vagabond owners

When you push the button for your"motor" to kick in and move the die along - do you have to hold it down until your die passes through or does it go by its own? i was watching a video on Tim's blog and it seems that he just hit the button and doesnt have to hold it. i have to hold mine down. What about you?

I don't have one, but I used one at a crop and had to hold the button in the direction I wanted the pads to go. I think I read that this allows you to control when it stops, just in case you get a jam.

I think you have to hold the button down. Maybe this is a safety measure in case the sandwich is a tight fit and you should reposition the pieces of your sandwich. Also, I think TH says that you need to hold it down or else I have heard this in other Vagabond videos.

I' m envious that you have the Vagabond! I have a CB, BS and a Cricut E so can't justify purchasing one. Maybe Santa will .......... I've been a good girl Thai year!!!!

Hi Crafter,
Yes, I have my vagabond and its nice b/c it motorized and I can cut grunge board and thicker chipboard but I dont always need to do that. My crafting space is limited so I have to store my vagabond. At times I miss the ease of just grabbing my big shot and placing it on my table to cut.

I don't have to hold the button. Once it catches the die moves through on its own.
