Ohhh ...boy.............what a difference!!!!!!
I just LOVE my cardstock that I got today from Papertrey!
I didnt think there would be such a big difference...but was I wrong.
WOW....and faaaaaaast shipping.
Great deal too.....I go A2 envies and Im very happy.
Have to add my Love it to this as well and I agree with fast shipping and they package it so well for shipping. I live in Canada and I usually get my order within a week.
It is fantastic for sure.
The only drawback is some of the more intricate punches won't punch through it... Then again, you can layer with other CS.... and use your punches.
I love their stuff, but that Shiny blue they have is fantastic.
i treat my PTI cardstock like gold. even though it's not that expensive, i feel like it almost SHOULD be because it's so good. the scraps go in a seperate place from my "regular" scraps.. they're special.. hehehe

I agree with all of your comments. PTI paper rocks. It is the nicest cardstock on the market. Like stampenem stated above, some paper punches do not work very well with the cardstock.
Ok, because I read some place on here that the cardstock at Walmart that is 110lb wt is just as good, I ran out and bought some.
I was thrilled that i got 150 sheets for 5.84 ...yippeeeee
BUT THEN...............I OPENED THE PACKAGE......AND YUCK....
im sorry....NO WHERE NEAR as good as PTI cs. Ill use it for maybe...like stamping on it then cutting it out. But for cards I have to go with PTI ...
im spoiled now.....
If you havent tried PTI cs....YA GOTTA TRY....YOU WONT BE SORRY.
I am sitting on the edge of my chair just waiting to see what new wonderful color they release this month. Papertry always gets a good chunk out of me for their new colors and all the goodies to go with them...just cant wait...I heard somewhere that one of the new colors was going to be black but I am not sure...
Blessings.
If you ever see them the 12" pads are fantastic.
the sheets make fantastic cards and 3D projects as it's thick but not too thick. Not sure the weight bu it somes with words tags and loads of punchouts.
it's hard to imagine a cardstock that doesn't bleed through the back with
copics; but is worth a try, especially with free shipping for $35. for Gina K
However, this cardstock, at the moment, is out of stock

stampencamper,
I got some amazing Gink K Pure luxury 120lb. just b4 the holidays (my first ever order from her) and I can tell you I colored and colored and it never bled through...stopped after I got the right amount shading I wanted:-)
I have tried every cardstock/ink duo with the exception of Papertrey Ink as the shipping is a minimum 18$ US to Canada.....Neenah is the closest best but it doesn't have the gorgeous smoothness of Gink K's line...
For me, smearing ink is the most annoying, but I seem to have found success with the Gink K 120lbs in tandem with Memento Ink (Brillance is my next try but I am confident it will work too)
Shipping is super fast and wonderfully packaged (paper is SUPER protected)
I am looking forward to getting some more during the next release to stock up as I am stamping fool now that I found a great partner for my Copics:-)
HTH!
Terri

I just rec'd a pack of their white cardstock and OMG! it's GORGEOUS! It's the first white cardstock that I have really loved as a white base. I need to look into their other colors and make a big cardstock purchase.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im really happy with mine..and now I want more in different colors. I really love the wt....and quality of their paper.
LOVE IT
so glad, I placed my order today; can't wait for it to arrive
Got mine today! I ordered the 80 lb to try it out first. It is the smoothest cs out there (even more so than PTI's & I'm a PTI cs fan!) I'm so happy with it. Now I'm just waiting for my 120 lb ones to come. If the texture is just as smooth then that is it, I'm done looking for the best cs out there.

I'm confused, is it 80lbs or 120lbs ?? PTI or Gina K ??

sorry, I should have stated. It's GinaK 80 lb. that I received and loving it with my Copics! I have the 120 coming in the mail. All this time, I've been using PTI's Stamper's Select but if the 120 from GInaK is anything like her 80 lb then I won't be using my PTI white cs anymore! Hope that makes sense! I will, however, still be using PTI colored cs.
I have the privilege of living close to Gina's store. I got to personally ask her the difference in her 80lb to the 120lb paper. After she told me I bought the 120lb paper. It is beautiful! I embossed it with snowflakes for my Christmas cards and they were gorgeous, like Gina! She is the nicest, most down to earth lady. Thank you Gina!
