the refills are much more than the tape refills for the 714 ATG !! check that out before purchasing....and how hard will it be to actaully get refills....dont know if the major tape distributors carry the replaceable cartridges.
i think i got my atg for about the same price as that new glue gun....
it does have an easier refill operation ...however, once you refill the atg once and get the hang of it, it really is quite easy to do.....
Being a "treehugger" I have a problem with the disposable cartridges too. At least with the ATG, all you're throwing away is a tiny core and the release paper. No big hunk of plastic that's going to be around forever.

My first thought was how cute, my second was that the tape insert was such a waste!
If I caught you in time, check out this thread that I started. Not only are the refills way less expensive than ATG (and yes, they are as good or better) they also have their own "gun" that I think is only $25. I think a couple of the girls have ordered one already. It's worth a peek, anyway. Thread:
