Where can I pre-order the box punch board-We R Memory Keepers
We R Memory Keepers has a box punch and will have 3 other punches out soon. I'm interested in the box and gift bag punch board. The only problem with this board would be if the measurements are off, like the envelope punch was. Anyone know the prices?
Here it is on Oh My Crafts for pre-order for October. Don't know about this company, as I haven't ordered from them.
I would be hesitant to pre-order this punch from anyone, really, after how long it took for the pre-orders on the Envelope Punch. That was a real fiasco!
There is bound to be a big demand for this, too, and who knows if they have made enough to send to suppliers for all the pre-orders.
Use the search feature (here and on 2Peas) and check into OMC and preorders, or orders in general. LOTS of complaints about extremely late orders, orders being canceled by OMC, etc. I've been caught up in tardy orders from them more than once, even waiting over five MONTHS for an order to be fulfilled before OMC simply decided to cancel the remaining items and call it a day. Because I have had some orders fulfilled without a hitch, I gave them more than one chance to get it right, but they failed miserably the last time and I'm done.
Surely some other company that doesn't have such a horrible rep for tardy/unfulfilled orders will carry this board soon. I'll wait -- impatiently, for sure! -- until the new boards are available from a store that has a better reputation than OMC.

I thought when I posted the above that I remembered some complaints about Oh My Crafts.
But, also, like I said, a huge mess happened with WRMC and the Envelope punch with perfectly reliable companies just this year. The companies took pre-orders and then WRMK didn't ship the products when they promised.
I have a feeling this new batch of punch boards will not be available anywhere until the fall, and I'm not going to pre-order, but will wait - like you, somewhat impatiently.

I think I am going to wait also, I want to make sure they iron out bugs. But I would like to know from others who had ordered it and received it to give a review on these punch boards.
I am not sure which ones that I will get still deciding if I need all four of them. I wonder if Joann's or Michaels will eventually get it and then maybe I can use my 40% coupon.... who knows...
Scrap-Mart has all three of the new boards for $19.99 each. Their email ad today says "In Stock."
I placed my order for all three (using their 40% email list coupon for one of them). Mechanically, there shouldn't be a problem. If there are measurement issues, I assume WRMK will solve it like last time with a sticker. I bought one of the first generation envelope boards that required a correction sticker. The sticker fits perfectly. I can't even tell the board has been modified. If I end up needing a sticker for one of these new boards, I'm okay with that.
I ordered my envelope board from Scrap-Mart back when they first had them (and advertised them as being in stock) and it arrived in a few days. No issues with them at all.

Bugga knows how long I waited for my envelope punch board! But I'm thinking they just may have learned from that fiasco and made more this time and probably verified the measurements! At least I would hope they learned! I will wait a while....I don't want all of them anyway.

Yes, I certainly do know, Kathy! Like you, I'm going to wait on the box boards for a while. Might get one of them, but not all.

I got the gift bag board a few weeks ago. Love it, no problems at all with it. The instructions are clear and after a few times I stopped having to refer to them. It's perfect for small gifts and gift cards. Definitely going to use for hostess gifts during the holidays and for class valentines.

I would say $17.99 sounds reasonable! I have just preordered the bag and box boards in the uk (should be in this week) at a cost of 16.99 each or 30 for two. That's over $27 dollars for one! I doubt we'll ever get them cheaper and we never get coupons!
I was in HL today and they had the box and gift bag boards in stock. They were 19.99 but if you used a coupon, that would be doable. Probably old news for most of you but just wanted to share this.

No, it's "new" news to me. I haven't been to HL in a while. Thanks for the tip.

hi Armywife, can you share the info on what is the smallest and largest size of gift bag the WRMK gift bag punch board can make? TIA!

I found a pretty good video demo on a blog, and she lists the measurements of the bags:
"The Punch Board lets you make three different widths of bags 2.625", 3.125", and 3.625". They have them labeled small, medium and large. The length of your bag is up to you. Although much like the Envelope Punch Board depending on the length, you will run off the board when making your score lines.
This board also has a punch that allows you to create holes, so that you can thread ribbon, twine or paper through it."
It looks a little more complicated to use than the envelope punch, but I'm sure after doing it a few times, it wouldn't seem that way.
Here is a link to the blog. Scroll down a ways to see the entry for the punch:
I got the box and bag punch board at Hobby Lobby last Sat. they were 40% off. Could not believe it. Played with both and love them both. I really love the Envelope board as well. Will probably get the pillow box one too once it is back in stock at Hobby Lobby.
