what set in current catalog...

...is a must? Going to my first Stampin' Up class with this catalog. Any thoughts on which set I should buy...any of the the new in colors a must?
Is the suppliment still current? Any there? Thanks for your help!

I just had a catalog party that included four people who have never ordered from SU before... One person only scrapbooks at this time, and she didn't buy any stamps, but the other three ALL ordered Sincere Salutations. They all just felt that this was a good starter set since they can use a small "sentiment piece" with patterned paper or a stamped background, etc., and have basically any card they might need until they get more of a stamp supply built up. Hope that helps!

I've always felt a good set for beginners is Sincere Salutations or something similar. I don't know if you're a beginner or not, though...

The mini is good through the end of January, and the big catalog through January 18th. Have fun!

Also a vote for Priceless----check out the gallery for ideas. It is amazing what all you can do with this set.
