Default Gemini Jr

I purchased the Gemini Jr, getting the purple one, on the HSN launch.. so much easier than trying to crank the Cuttlebug. I broke my C plate trying to cut some new die cuts, and pretty much after that put my Cuttlebug away. This Gemini Jr is awesome. I was wondering if anyone who has one has ever tried to use the b plates from Cuttlebug on it? Also, the magnetic and rubber embossing mats. I have not attempted to use anything but the plates that came with the Gemini, but was just wondering if any brave souls tried the other plates. I just ordered a complete set of extra plates from Crafter's Companion yesterday, total came to $51.70 since I ordered two clear cutting plates. I do flip and reverse the plates after every single cut like Sara Davies said, but I wanted back up plates. I am keeping one plate strictly for the bottom, so it isn't getting the cuts like the top plate. I have also tried using the dryer sheets to help intricate cuts, but so far they don't pull out all the little pieces like the you tube videos - but it does help. I am so pleased with the Gemini Jr - I'd recommend it to anyone having trouble hand cranking the other die cut machines ! Thank you in advance for any feedback. Mac

I don't know if you'll find your answer here or not:
I think she addresses the issue. She does have other videos using the Gemini.

thank you so much iamvics for finding this video for me. Looks like it is possible to use other plates, but also to be very careful with the pressure... I love my Gemini Jr and admit, it anything happened to it, I would replace it. Have a fantastic day... thanks again !

You are so welcome. I follow her for other videos and remembered she does the Gemini ones, too. Happy I could help.
