Since I got my Cricut, I haven't been in the market for dies but I was just browsing around and came across this store. When I looked at the dies I was pleasantly surprised to see so many manufacturers are making such beautiful dies for card-makers. Here's the link: cutting dies nesting sizes embossing
It also made me realize that many of these die designs do not belong to the manufacturer/designer. Sure basic shapes are no wonder but this doily die Lattice 2 Frame Die is the same as the Parisian Lace Die from PTI (Papertrey Ink - Doily Die Collection). This was news to me!
Nichole Heady explained on her blog before this last release that the doily dies were not their own designs but from Cheery Lynn designs.
Since I didn't want to risk missing out if they sold out on PTI, I just ordered them right from Cheery Lynn. They're gorgeous!
I got a couple of sets of the black ones shown on the page you linked, from another website.
The price is sure right, compared to Spellbinders sets at twice the price. I will say that I don't think they cut as crisp and clean as the Spellbinders dies do. The edges seem a little fuzzy. Not a big deal, but I thought I would mention it.
They are made of some sort of metal, but are not as sturdy as the Spellbinders dies, so you need to be careful not to bend them in use, too.

A local scrapbook store is selling these to compete with Spellbinders. They are thinner and I agree they don't have the sharp edge cut. I haven't used them much so I'm not real sure how they will hold up.
Don't mean to hijack this thread about the dies but you mentioned you have a Cricut. I bought the 'Holiday Cakes' cart. It has 1 image (labelled Baby1 & Baby1-s-using the shift key) that looks like it will cut an image similar to a doily. It has a hole in the center so you would have to layer a circle over it but you can use this layer to stamp a sentiment or cut one. Haven't looked at any other Cake carts but they might have other doily-like images.
Remember, you can use the Cake carts on the regular Cricuts just not the Imagine carts - unless you buy the new E2. From my reading of some of the specs on the new E2, you can cut using the Imagine carts but not print. I may be wrong but that is my understanding.

I just rec'd two of the doily dies yesterday. I needed to add a sheet of cardstock to get a complete cut, and it was pretty hard turning to get them through the Cuttlebug. It also takes a long time to use a pin through the holes to remove all the excess pieces. There are tons of them! They do look beautiful though.
One is about 5 inches across (rather big for cards); so pay attention to the finished size.
Thanks for the link. I'd love to get that doily die but I refuse to pay PTI shipping prices so I'm glad I can get it elsewhere.
I have noticed that basically all of the stamp companies who are branching into the die market are all knocking off the same designs in some way or another....for example, it seems they all have scalloped strips (maybe just of varying sizes) etc. I sort of like the fact that I can buy the same thing in different places bc I can chose to shop at the place with the most reasonable shipping and that has other products that appeal to me.

Holy cow -- how's this for a story! I had been seriously wanting that PTI die, but it was always out of stock, or I couldn't justify spending on shipping, etc., etc. (I'm in Canada). Last week I was shopping in my favourite Buffalo paper crafts store (Buffalo Stamps n Stuff -- yay!) and saw the gorgeous Cheery Lynn doily dies.
I bought the French Pastry doily die NOT EVEN REALIZING that it was the same design! Now I know why it appealed to me so much! :rolleyes:
