Question SU Distressing Tool Question

Is there a way to sharpen the SU distressing tool? I *LOVE* it so much and use it a lot, but it seems that its getting dull and I just got the tool for xmas! Any suggestions?

Cut a V in an old credit card and use it to get the same effect.

I bought a couple from http://www.scrappotamus.com and https://www.scrapbooks.com/index.php -- I don't remember which is which, but one sells for $0.99 and the other for $0.89. The second site also has $1.99 s/h through Valentine's Day.
