Default Tim Holtz Masks

Has anyone used these? I just got some and have only used them a couple of times. So far I've just tried them on the manilla shipping tags. One thing I noticed was that when pulling it off it took a tiny bit of paper with it due to the mask being sticky on the side that adheres to the paper. I was gentle when removing the mask and I do like the distress look but not all the time. Any tips or suggestions from SCS folks who have tried these? Thanks.

I haven't tried these, but often when using sticky masks it helps to first press it on your pant leg or something to remove a little of the stickiness.
