SU choc. chip verses PTI brown
Hello. I didn't want to totally hijack the PTI paper thread, so I started a new one.
Can anyone tell me (or show me:grin:) the color differnce between PTI dark brown and SU choc chip. Is SU darker? I don't own any PTI paper but after reading about how everyone loves it, I'd like to try it. I've already seen that SU's night of navy is darker blue that PTI's. I'm going to a SU party tomorrow and was planning on ordering paper, but I might change my mind based on your recommendations! Thanks, Denise |
The PTI dark brown and the SU chocolate chip are very close in color, sorry my camera isn't working or I would take a picture for you. I would order the paper from PTI if it was me as I really love the weight of the PTI and I use the dark brown mainly for card bases. If I had to start over again with getting paper I would go with PTI and just get the variety packs from SU to use for layers. Good luck with your decision.

I agree. They are very close in color. So close, in fact, that I often mix up which one is which. I agree with jackie1 in saying I would go with PTI because of the weight/quality.

I also have both...and they are soooo close they are hard to tell apart...I keep mine in different drawers so they dont get together and make a new color...lol

your welcome!

to me the PTI brown is so much richer than the SU brown. The PTI makes the pinks and spring moss type colors absolutely pop. I won't be ordering SU choc chip again.

Thank you all for your help! The link was exactly what I needed! Based on your recommendations, I did not order the SU choc chip. I did however order night of navy only because of the way it looks on my monitor----I prefer the deep, dark blue.
Thanks again! You guys are great! |
