SU chalk talk

I am interested in the SU chalk talk set and framelits. Will it work with the cuttlebug? Has anybody used it with the chalk talk framelits without the magnetic platform? I am wondering it will cut w/o the magnetic platfiorm. The magnetic platform is not in my budget right now. Thanks any info anybody can share with me.

I just have to add that this is my very favorite product in the current catalog. I love, love, LOVE the stamp set AND the framelits!! I use the framelits by themselves to make the cutest tags, and I use them all together as well.

Any of the framelits will work in a cuttlebug.

The magnetic platform is not a required element to cut any die, but it can make it easier to keep the die in place when cutting out a matching stamped image. A cheap alternative is to use a post it note or some washi tape to hold the die in the correct position while running it through.

if in doubt I use blue painter's tape to hold the framelits in place.

Before I got my magnetic plate, I used sticky notes to keep framelits and the holes for chalk talk in place.
