SU black ink smears?

the last 3 times i have stamped my images with the SU basic black ink...it smears when i try to color it. am i doing something wrong? do i need to use another type of ink? ive let it sit like an hour, then tried to color it, and it still happened. any ideas?

What are you coloring it with?

SU markers, and sometimes watercolor pencils.

I also had this problem. I called SU and was sent a new one.
The replacement pad is great, supper black and does not smear!!!!

Try black memento ink, it works well with all different mediums. :)

I had SU black ink for a little while and it smeared like that. I switched to Memento and no problems.

If I am going to be watercoloring, I let SU! black ink dry for a long time. No smears. Very glad to hear the newer pad is better -- ordering one next time!

memento is not good for watercoloring with blender pens or the SU aquapainter, you need stazon for that.
