Hey everyone! I have been seeing some GORGEOUS cards out there lately, made with something called Bister. From what I can gather, it is some sort of paint medium. Does SCS have a tutorial on how to use it? If so, I can't find it. If not, it would be awesome if someone would create one! I would LOVE to learn more about this medium and how to use it on a card. If anyone has a good link for a tutorial, please share! :p
That is on my to do list for May! I am teaching at a retreat in a few weeks and we'll be playing with a similar product called Color Burst... once we get home and things settle down I will get a tutorial done for us. Brusho is another product similar to bisters.
from what I gather these are watercolor powders and create amazing cards! Here is a you tube link I found to something called BRUSHOS. I am going to try to make my own using an old set of watercolor paints and a microplane grater. Will let you know how it works out!
