Could anyone share which colors of dew drops best coordinate with Stampin' Up colors? I'm wanting to order some, but not quite sure what to get.
Thanks!:p
I bought some "look alikes" at Michael's the other day in their candle section. They look just like the little dots. They had pink, green, blue and clear. I was THINKING but I haven't tried it yet...of coloring the clear ones to whatever color matches my paper with ink...I'd be interested to see if that worked, KWIM? Then I could have ANY color I wanted.
What are the dew drops? I've seen them, so I know what they look like, but what are they made of? Plastic? Glass? And are they self-adhesive, or do you have to glue them on somehow?
That's a really good idea to try and color them with ink. You'll have to let us know how it works out!
I'm not sure what they're made of, but I'm thinking acrylic. You have to glue them yourself.
They do cover nicely with Copic markers. I tried some of the others but I found the color rubbed off. SO...they do color really well, but slightly lighter than the shade of ink (of course.)
AND, I took a 1/4 inch hole punch and punched out some holes and then adhered them to the back of the drop with some clear glue (like the flat-backed glass marble magnets people make) and then they match perfectly and can be used with patterned and solid papers.
This is what they say on the Kitchen Sink Stamps website: "Suggested Adhesive: Mini Glue Dots, Rangers Glossy Accents, Judikins Diamond Glaze or Stampin Up!s Crystal Effects, makes attaching dew drops a snap."
