I don't have any of Anna Griffin's new cartridges, but they will work in any Cricut machine. All of the cartridges, except some of the ones for the Imagine, do. She also said that on HSN. If you have an original Cricut, the small one, then you might have some difficulty getting the card bases to cut large enough for a standard card. When I used my small Cricut, I would cut the base by hand and use the cartridges for the embellishments.

I have one of her Christmas cartridges. While the designs are beautiful, there are a lot of layers. You don't have to cut them all; but if you want to, it takes a lot of time. There are no directions in the booklet that comes with the cartridge, and the booklet is a bit difficult to follow. I do love the results, but it isn't an easy cartridge to use.

I hope this has helped you.

Most of the new Anna Griffith cartridges have been designed to show off the intricate cuts the Explore can make. I always use a deep cut blade for any and all cuts I do. I buy the Roland 60 degree blades super super cheap on eBay. They are exactly identical to the deep cut blades that cricut sells. They are about $1 per blade on eBay. And you don't have to use a deep cut housing either. The regular one works perfect.

Anyway, if you like her designs go ahead and get the cartridge. The small original cricut will work just fine. Have a nice sharp blade and a mat that isn't too sticky.
