Is Ultra Clean the same as the TAC cleaner?
I thought I heard somewhere that the TAC stamp cleaner is the same as Stewart Superior Ultra Clean. Is this true??
If so is there anywhere that I can get it for less than the $6.95 TAC sells it for??
Thanks!!

Yep, it's the same stuff and it's AWESOME!! I'm hoping TAC will start carrying the refills soon.

I think Gina K sells the refill for it.
It cleans beautifully- but I don't think I'll get it again. It's so oily, my stamps have to be washed off after they are cleaned before I can use them again.

It sounds like you are using too much - I only squirt one or 2 times on my cleaning pad - and use that for a day or two!

I use one squirt on my cleaning pad to clean about 30 stamps- they all come clean, but all of them are so oily I have to rinse them off. The residue is awful.
(I only clean my stamps when my 'clean me' bucket is full)

I have a small scrubber that I keep dry just for "drying off" my stamps after I use the TAC/UltraClean cleaner. It works great.

I dilute mine 1 part cleaner to 1 part water. It still works great but cuts down the 'oily' feel.
