Default Embossed button punch - Martha Stewart

I just came back from Michael's with the MS Artic Snowflake punch (going back next week for the other snowflake punch) and I saw a MS double punch - didn't even know they had these! It was an embossed button. I guess it embosses and punches, too?

Funny thing is last week I made a card and then used my Coluzze to cut out 2 layers of cardstock to make a button. I snailed them together, sponged around the edges and punched 2 holes with the 1/6" hand-held punch (but should have used the 1/8" instead, you couldn't see the holes after I tied some frayed ribbon through it). It came out really cute! But I will definately be picking up this punch soon! I sell my cards at work and I'm a little iffy about using real buttons on there as I am afraid someone will come back to me with a mutilated card that was mailed- that would be awful! Okay, I'm going tomorrow to get it - the other snowflake punch can wait!!!

:-D

I bought that punch a few weeks ago when they first came out. It's really cute how the punch cuts and embosses the button, then punches out the two holes in the middle. I tried to use it on a card that I just made that has a "buttons" theme, but I just couldn't figure out to use them, as the scale is pretty big. I hope to figure out a use for it soon, though. It's just too cute not to use.

I've been eyeing this punch, and I do want it. But I did think it was a little bit too big. I would love to see some cards with it.
