Default stampin up paper cutter feedback

Hi, everyone!

I have a few paper trimmers (Cricut, Fiskars, 2 Carls) but I need a great and nice paper trimmer that I can just quickly reach for when I'm cutting cardstock for cards. I have been looking at the Stampin' Up paper cutter, and I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts/feedback to share about the cutter. I am asking because I don't want to order it and then go through the hassle of a return when I'm not satisfied with it. Also, I am a bit worried because my one Fiskars cutter, I was not really happy with. The cuts are not straight, it's always slanted to one side (even if I hold if flushed to the end).

Any feedback will be really helpful.

Thanks so much!

One of the SU ones is a Fiskars cutter and the other is a Tonic (Tapletop Paper Cutter). Don't know how much space you have but I have the larger Tonic guillotine one and love it. It is a size that will cut 12x12 paper. This one is often on sale at Joann.

Have tried and discarded many paper cutters and so far the larger Tonic has worked the best for me. I am just a hobby paper crafter so don't need anything bigger or heavier.

I've had every kind of cutter you can name, even a guillotine, I love, love my Stampin' Up cutter. I can't explain the difference I just find it easy to use.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a big Carl cutter that I love, but I was hoping for something similar to Fiskars/Stampin Up that work great.

I agree on the Tonic! I also have the 12x12 that I got first ---went back and bought the smaller one also that is more like a Fiskars. I would not buy anything else after having probably every paper cutter out there! Good Luck!

I highly recommend the Stamping' up one. I've had it for years and recommend it to anyone who wants consistently straight cuts!

Default Love the SU

I have had the SU tabletop cutter for many years and even I can't kill it. It is very reliable, very forgiving and works just great. I use it a lot.

Can someone please tell me the overall size of the tabletop cutter? I already have a guillotine but would also like something more portable that doesn't take up a huge amount of desk space. Thanks!
