Default Stamp Identifier?

I thought of looking for something like an app that can identify valuable stamps. Has anyone tried this? Not sure if I can just follow it and install it on my computer without asking anyone first. Thanks.

I didn’t follow the link but the first thing that strikes me is that it may not be the sort of stamps you’re thinking of - the phrase “postage stamp” suggests to me it’s something aimed at philatelists (those who collect stamps used for mailing letters), not craft stampers. How did you find the app?

It is for postage stamps.
I have never heard of the kind of app you are looking for re rubber stamps.

If you want to know what is selling for high prices...go into ebay, ask for rubber stamps. Then filter on highest prices. I suspect they change all the time though. Except for some....like some of the PSX florals.

I've seen rubber stamps though, since everything is becoming digital it make me thought that there maybe an app for this. How about the "Stamp Manager?" I just heard it but not sure of its uses.

I believe that is for postage stamps too. Sorry.

Are you looking for a program to manage your stamp inventory? That is different from IDing valuable ones. There is one people love around here. I cant remember the name though.

I watched the video and they said "Stop wasting your time looking up stamps"

That's the fun of collecting.

It also seems they have no catalog numbering support i.e. Scott's/SG and rely on links to eBay and Bidstart auctions, what if these vendors are wrong in their listings, the software reliance on vendors images and numbering threw me off, $19.99 for the full package and not much information on the site.

Airtable is the app that many are using for inventory.
Here's Lydia's video on how it works: &list=PLJIbf6Vl1ixVumgrJeQs3rZ4lOYtPNg-w

I installed Airtable on my ipad and I love it.
My daughter Terri set it up for me.
It is helpful when I am looking for a sentiment.
I did type them all into the program and now I have a filter that will show me every set that has
the sentiment I am looking for.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Hi Margot,

Yes, I'm looking for one. I did some research here and there and found some on ebay.

To all, thanks for the suggestions, it seems Airtable deserves a look-see!
