I am looking for a very easy to use, but versatile software to alter fonts. I print a lot of my sentiments on cardstock and cut them out as I need them. Saves me from having to buy so many sentiment stamps. I have hundreds of fonts that I have downloaded and use but I want to be able to curve the sentiments or alter in other ways. Any suggestions?
I used to have a Word-type program that would curve, but I had an unwanted "UPDATE" and it went away. I quite computer-illiterate and would love to know how to download more fonts and get them in my word program. I need to ask a teenager!
To download additional fonts:
Google for websites that sell fonts - there are many out there. You can even find some for free. Once you pick a font that you want there should be a download button. Click that and it will download to your computer. You should find the file in your downloads. Click on it and a screen will open and at the top left there will be an option to install the font. This will place the font in your font folder and any time you use Word you will find it in your font list. I have typed this from memory since it has been awhile since I have downloaded any so I hope I have not missed a step. It may download as a zip file which would mean that you will need to extract the files before installing.
FYI: You cannot use this font in emails unless the recipient has the same font installed.
It might not be easy enough for you, but Silhouette Studio is free to download and install and can be used to print on an ordinary printer. It could be used to curve text or put it around a shape, put a frame around a sentiment etc.

Places like dafont.com 1001fonts.com unbundled.com have thousands of free fonts available. If you want to be able to use them on items to sell, you need a commercial licence. Some places offer a free commercial licence. Pretty sure fontbundles do.
Those are some of the sites I download from, but what I want to be able to do is place my text in an arc, etc. to print. Word will only allow that if you use the already designed text art unless I am missing an option somewhere.

I use Microsoft Publisher. You can do a lot with this simple program.
