If your scrub pad is SU, you can order the replacement pads. If it is not, you are missing a great opportunity not to have to replace the whole scrub pad.

I am sorry to hear you can't buy SU products in Norway and hate my post did not help you at all.:(
It is a shame your scrub pad did not last longer than 4 months. I hope you are able to find another type pad in your area that is much better than the ranger.
Good luck,

When I first started stamping, I used a plate with wet paper towel on it and it worked well until I could get a scrub pad. Just a thought in case you want to have something temporary.

its not that easy buying from SU being in Norway
When I first started stamping, I used a paint pad that can be found in most hardware stores. I just bought the replacement pads in the size I wanted and they have lasted years. They are basically made of the same stuff as the stampin up cleaning pads.

I'm glad you mentioned this paint pad, I've heard of using it before. I don't really know what you are talking about. And I do the painting in this house?? Can you show us a pic or explain to us dumb ones (like me in particular)
Thanks
Kathy
Here are a couple of scans of one of the paint pads. They are kind of blurry, but they should give you the general idea. The front has the same texture as a SU! or Ranger stamp cleaning pad. The back is shiney, smooth plastic that has ridges on two ends. These ridges (or troughs) would allow you to slide the pad onto a handle for painting or staining surfaces like window sills. I use the paint pads for cleaning my stamps. They are especially useful for large, background stamps that are hard to fit on the regular stamp scrubber cases.
What kind of chemicals do you use to clean your stamp pads? For example dish soap, stamp scrubber solutions.
It could be something as simple what is in your water.
Just something to ponder.

Before I bought my SU! cleaning pad, I used regular kitchen sponges. I kept them in a dish/container (usually a disposable aluminum pan). I had two - one soaking wet to get all the ink, and one just damp to kinda catch any last ink & dry off at the same time. Worked just fine.

You can buy the paint pads at most hardware stores that sell paint supplies. They should be in with the paint brushes and rollers. They are not very expensive.
When I was in the States I got them at Wal Mart in the painting section. They are the edge pads...just buy the replacement pack. They are inexpensive and work well.
I never thought about the painting pads. I have not invested in the SU scrub pad, I use one I bought at Michaels. Works well for me, I use half of it for cleaning and the other half for drying. Some day I am gonna get the SU scrub.
